Pacific Surfliner
The Pacific Surfliner connects San Diego and San Luis Obispo, California via Los Angeles, making stops at 31 stations along the route. The Pacific Surfliner also has Amtrak Thruway Bus Connections from Fullerton to Palm Springs and Indo and from Los Angeles to Long Beach and San Pedro. It connects to three Amtrak Long Distance intercity passenger rail routes in Los Angeles – the Coast Starlight to Seattle, the Southwest Chief to Chicago, and the Sunset Limited to New Orleans. Numerous intercity and local bus connections are also available at each terminal location and at selected stations along the route.
Heartland Flyer
The Heartland Flyer connects Oklahoma City, OK to Fort Worth, TX. At Fort Worth, daily connections are available to Dallas, Little Rock, St. Louis, and Chicago to the north and east and to San Antonio to the south via the Texas Eagle. Connecting rail service three times weekly via the Texas Eagle from San Antonio via the Sunset Limited provides access to Los Angeles and other Western U.S. destinations. Amtrak Thruway Bus service connects to additional cities in Texas from Fort Worth and to the Southwest Chief in Newton, Kansas from Oklahoma City via Wichita, Kansas.
Ethan Allen Express
The Ethan Allen Express provides daily rail service connecting Rutland, VT and New York City via Saratoga Springs, Albany, and Poughkeepsie, NY. Connecting rail service continues to Washington, DC via specific, scheduled Amtrak trains and to regional commuter rail services including Metro-North Railroad, Long Island Railroad, and NJ Transit as well as NYC Transit at New York. Amtrak Thruway Bus service connects Rutland on to the resort area of Killington, VT.
Keystone Service
The Keystone Service provides frequent daily rail service connecting Harrisburg, PA and New York City via Lancaster and Philadelphia, PA and Trenton and Newark, NJ. Connecting rail service continues from New York via scheduled Amtrak trains from Penn Station, regional commuter rail services including Metro-North Railroad, Long Island Railroad, and NJ Transit as well as NYC Transit. SEPTA commuter rail trains connect in Philadelphia and operate over the same tracks between Downingtown and Philadelphia. Connecting bus services are also available at multiple station stops.
Pennsylvanian
The Pennsylvanian provides once daily rail service connecting Pittsburgh, PA and New York City via Altoona, Harrisburg, Lancaster and Philadelphia, PA and Trenton and Newark, NJ. The Pennsylvanian operates over the same tracks as the Amtrak Keystone Service east of Harrisburg. SEPTA commuter rail trains connect in Philadelphia and operate over the same tracks between Downingtown and Philadelphia.
